Kevin Peters

Kevin J. Peters is a senior attorney with Nichols & Eberth, P. C. Mr. Peters recently joined the firm following 11 years of specializing in the areas of medical malpractice, product liability, commercial litigation, auto negligence, employment discrimination and general personal injury law. Mr. Peters earned his law degree from the University of Dayton. Prior to going to law school, Mr. Peters earned two degrees in music. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from SUNY College at Fredonia where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and a Master's degree in performance from the nationally acclaimed Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music where he graduated with high honors.

Over the course of his 11 years of experience, Mr. Peters has represented both plaintiffs and corporate clients and has tried numerous cases to verdict. He will continue to represent plaintiffs in all areas of personal injury. However, he will also use his considerable litigation experience to represent clients in the areas of divorce, post-divorce disputes, custody, parenting time issues, paternity, pre-nuptial agreements, probate and estate planning. Mr. Peters is also available to counsel clients in business and contractual matters, copyright law and alternative dispute resolution.

Currently, Mr. Peters is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association. Prior to joining Nichols & Eberth, Mr. Peters worked with the firms Hertz, Schram & Saretsky in Bloomfield Hills and Kitch, Drutchas, Wagner, et al. in Detroit.

Mr. Peters is married and has two sons. He enjoys coaching his sons in hockey and is also an active private music teacher, professional musician and clinician.
